Many of my current photos say they were taken at 28mm. This is a fabrication! I shoot with lenses that came out before the whole auto-focus stuff was even invented, so I have to set the focal length and aperture in my camera's menu since it's a non-CPU lens.

For future reference... If it's macro and says something crazy like anything less than 55mm (Because that's me second macro lens' focal length) then it's shot with either my 55mm AI-s or 105mm AI-s.

Sorry guys. No wide-angle macro lens yet!

Eventually I plan on getting one of those fancy modern lenses but not for the autofocus. If you haven't noticed... my bokeh is about as smooth as bargain brand toilet paper at times, and I feel like one of the now standard 9-bladed apertures in modern macro lenses would help a ton.

As for macro lenses... I'm looking at the!

Nikon 105mm f/2.8 G VR AF-S

Tamron 272E 90mm f/2.8 Macro

Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG Macro

And I might just look at the 180mm lenses from Nikon, Sigma, and Tamron.

Too many to choose from! Anyways... gotta let my wallet recuperate for now seeing as I'm currently broke.

Hah, thank you! I'm not that in to cosplaying, but they sure are fun to swing around! At least, the... not so fragile ones.

Many thanks! :)

I'm hoping to sell some...someday

When 'someday' is I've got no clue. I've still got to weed out a bunch of quality control problems. Each one ends up sounding a little different than the last! >.<

Hey there, thanks!

The keyblades are made by cutting out the basic shape out of plywood, then I take this stuff called DAS (you can find it any any AC moore or Michaels) and I apply that over the wood, it sticks pretty good, then I paint it and give it a few coats of polyurethane, add a pinch of love, then it's done. As far as structural integrity, they're more of a display item. I suppose you could use it if you're one of those hard-core cosplayers that keeps their props in glass cases (not as if I knew any that actually did that, just assuming ^__^). But it's certainly not one of those things that you can go around whacking things with. I generally just have it sitting on a katana stand in my room.

I'm going to try working with resin coated foam core this Christmas break (I can't get anything done thanks to finals), so I might come up with something that can really take a beating...hopefully!

Welcome to D.A. I hope you have a great time here. You really have a great gallery. You are on my watch list. Are they sculptures made out of stone or do they have a regular base? Can they break easily or are they strong enough to stand a hit to something because they look pretty brittle?
